Lisa Patterson
About Lisa:
Luxury comes at all price points
Lisa Patterson’s true love has always been historic homes, architecture, and antiques. As a child in Lexington, Virginia, Lisa gained valuable experience through her father, who was heavily involved in the real estate business, including renovations and auctions. After college, she purchased the first historic property of her own, an early 18th-century home in Lexington. The rest, as they say, is history.
Lisa feels fortunate to call the historic South of Broad district her home and her workplace. She has over 30 years of experience and began her real estate career as an investor. Lisa and her husband have restored many historic homes downtown. Everything from a 1777 kitchen house to a plantation. Her friends often quip, “Antiques or homes, if it is dusted, busted or rusted, Lisa will buy it and restore it.” Proof of this passion is evident in the fact that Lisa has restored over 35 historic properties in her career. She soon discovered a knack for getting to know her clients' passions, needs, and lifestyles and matching them with the right house quickly. Her clients consistently say that she is the hardest-working real estate professional they have ever met.
Lisa has been awarded Realtor of Distinction over multiple years in the Charleston market. She is a member of the Top Producer’s Club, the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Rate My Agent awarded Lisa in 2021 as the number 3 agent in SC based on client reviews. In 2022 and 2023 Lisa was awarded the number one agent in Charleston County for customer service.
Lisa’s favorite organization in town is the Historic Charleston Foundation. She volunteers regularly on their annual tours of beautiful antebellum Charleston homes in the Spring and Fall and was awarded the 2019 Kitty Robinson Homeowner of the Year Award. Lisa is also a member of The Charleston Preservation Society. Currently, she and her husband live South of Broad. They just completed their 38 historic restoration. They have 4 grown children and four grandchildren. When she is not working with clients, you will find Lisa walking the streets of downtown Charleston with her standard poodle Talulah, gardening, attending an auction, or looking for another antique or real estate project.
