About Jennifer:

Local market expertise with world-class global connections.

Jennifer Vail grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and was raised steps away from the U.S. Naval Academy, along the Magothy River. Having lots of West Point graduates in her lineage, some of her best memories were attending Army/Navy football games with her extended family. Coming from a family with strong military roots, Jennifer truly understands a military family’s needs and the value and honor in serving one’s country. After attending University of Maryland, Jennifer worked in Washington DC at Georgetown University Hospital as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for a couple of years before she moved to Denver where she fell in love with the mountains, hiking, and the wildlife. There she met her husband, married, and had two kids while working at Denver Children’s Hospital. Prior to her career in real estate sales, Jennifer worked in the healthcare industry as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for eighteen years, in Washington DC, Denver, Baltimore and finally, Charleston. After spending numerous weekends and vacations in Charleston, in 2009 she and her family made the move to Charleston. They bought a handsome home in the exclusive I’On community of Mt. Pleasant.

Jennifer’s experience in real estate began well before her move to Charleston. Over twenty years ago, Jennifer and her husband began personally investing in real estate and became quite successful, realizing that the real estate investment world was ripe with opportunity. After two decades of successfully investing herself, Jennifer decided to share her success by helping others do the same.

Jennifer possesses strong negotiating skills and knows how to leverage those skills to achieve the best outcome for her sellers. Also, many of her nursing skills have parlayed well into real estate sales. It is important for an agent to cater to an individual client’s needs and this starts with being attentive. Jennifer is attentive and a tremendous listener. She tunes in to her clients’ preferences, motivations, and desires in order to pinpoint the best environment to suit their individual needs. A home is more than brick and mortar; it is a lifestyle, and Jennifer approaches every sale in this way.

Her ethical integrity, attention to detail, and strong ability to advocate for her clients’ best interests are the cornerstones of her career. These values match perfectly with the mission and values of Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty, and they are what sets Jennifer apart from the rest.

Jennifer is married to Patrick Vail and they have two teenage daughters. They are very active in the Marriage Prep Ministry at St. Clare of Assisi on Daniel Island. Jennifer volunteers with hospice in her free time and can be found helping senior citizens at local assisted-care facilities with her therapy dog, Isabel. Jennifer enjoys all things outdoors, including, but not limited to, boating, paddle boarding, crabbing, the occasional triathlon, and spending time with family and friends.
