On Tuesday, June 6, Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty agents from each market gathered in Beaufort, South Carolina, for a world-class tour of this charming area. Planned and executed by Beaufort-based agent Amy Lance Leath, the tour showcased the area’s historic and new construction homes, amenity-rich communities, and exciting local sights.
Starting with breakfast and bubbly generously provided by Matthew Dailey of Assurance Financial in Whitehall Park, the 25+ agents toured new construction homes by renowned Allen Patterson Builders and designed by Cristina Swinney Interiors. Both Cristina and Allen were on hand to lend insights about the project alongside local agent Michael Mark of Charter One. A jaunt through downtown Beaufort included a pop by The Bluff on Bay, where Lowcountry Real Estate broker-in-charge Edward Dukes led the group through two luxury townhomes overlooking the riverfront.
Next, our agents took a bus tour through some of Beaufort’s sought-after communities, like Newpoint and Coosaw Point, before stopping at Dataw Island for lunch. Laura McCarthy, the marketing and communications director for this sprawling planned community, gave an overview of on-site amenities like golf, tennis, croquet, bocce, and boating. Driving past serene marsh vistas and waterfront properties, the tour continued with a visit to a listing on Distant Island hosted by Allison Sutcliffe Greco and Elijah Harris of Keller Williams Realty.
A cruise by emerging sites near Port Royal wrapped up the excursion.
