About Lauren:
My background is in art and design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Sculpture, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fashion Merchandising. I have lived in the Landmark Historic District of Savannah, Georgia for over 14 years, and I've been able to apply my design background! I purchased, designed and renovated a 4,000 square foot loft space in the historic Derst Baking Company building, circa 1890. I greatly enjoy architecture and I specialize in all areas of Savannah, from the Historic District, Ardsley area, to Baldwin Park, to the Islands. It is so important to me to be active in the community. I served as a chairperson for the Silent and Live Auction Committee for the Cathedral Heritage Ball, which netted over $90,000 to benefit the Cathedral Endowment Fund. I am a Eucharistic minister and also a regular volunteer at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, a landmark in Savannah. We have so much to offer in terms of arts and culture in the Savannah area. I am a supporter of the Savannah Film Festival, the Savannah Music Festival, and I host an annual party for the classical musicians! My husband and I are avid collectors of art and share an interest in wine.
