In the complex process of buying and selling real estate, the needs of the client come first for Ed. He joined Sotheby’s in 2008 with Legacy Properties SIR in Portland, Maine working out of the Camden office. He has since transitioned into the Charleston market with Daniel Ravenel Sotheby's International Realty. With rapid changes in technology, he is keenly aware of using state of the art tools to assist clients in making the process of buying and selling property as enjoyable and seamless as possible.
A native of North Carolina, he holds an MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a former U.S. Marine Corps officer. His former career in international corporate banking included senior management positions with Credit Suisse emphasizing marketing, advertising and public relations. Combining these skills with a passion for architecture have helped to navigate the challenges of the real estate sales process.
Believing strongly in serving the communities where we choose to live, Ed has extensive experience working with non-profits in various roles from volunteer to board chairman. Some of these include Habitat for Humanity, Rotary, Silvermine Guild Arts Center, and Bay Chamber Concerts.
