Charleston, SC – Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty used their time over the holiday season to sponsor a successful Blood Drive. In partnership with the Red Cross, the Broad Street Blood Drive took place at their offices on December 5th. In response to recent natural disasters and violence in the news, real estate salesperson Julia Hawkins took the initiative to organize the event, with food and drinks donated from local vendors.
The bus was parked on Broad Street for the blood drive and was reportedly full throughout the day with donors, including many Realtors, and employees of Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty. Lunch and snacks were donated by Hamby’s Catering and Chick-fil-A, and many local business people on Broad Street turned up to donate as well.
“Building community engagement is a major goal of our firm, and we were very pleased to be able to host this recent blood drive,” Said Broker-In-Charge Dan Ravenel. “We were proud to play a role in strengthening our community and saving lives during the holiday, and we plan to make this a recurring event.”
