A native of North Carolina, Jason McCree Gentry grew up in a small town in the foothills. In 2001, Jason set his roots in Charlotte graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BA of Arts in he has enjoyed watching the Queen City grow and rejuvenate its urban core. Jason primarily focuses on urban living in the Charlotte Uptown and surrounding neighborhoods of Myers Park, Eastover, Dilworth, South End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa and Wesley Heights. The combination of his architectural background with his real estate skills creates an unprecedented experience and advantage for his clients.
Since becoming a licensed broker associate in 2010, Jason is well-recognized in the Charlotte market and was named the Vane Mingle Rookie of the Year in 2011 as well as being identified as a Rising Star by the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® in 2012. He takes extreme pride in bringing a new level of professionalism to the industry and strives to continue his knowledge and education through advanced training; he is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional in Building Design & Construction (LEED AP BD+C), At Home With Diversity Certified (AHWD), and a Certified Military Residential Specialist (CMRS). He is actively involved at the Charlotte Regional REALTORS® Association serving on many committees, 2015 Board of Directors, and being a core part of REALTORS® Care Day®. Jason is an active member of the Charlotte Chapter of the United States Green Building Council and has also served on the Real Estate Building Industry Coalition.
His free time is spent at his beach home in Kiawah Island, South Carolina where he is a member of the Kiawah Island Club. He enjoys traveling the world, fine wines and dining, biking, the beach, architecture and spending time with friends and family.
