Josie Baird

Josie’s real estate journey began when she approached a like-minded family owned business at Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty. To kickstart her career, Josie has mentored under Ruthie Ravenel, one of the top producing agents in the state of South Carolina and co-owner of the brokerage. Upon transitioning to a full time agent with the company, Josie’s sphere of influence and skillset have already paid dividends for her career. She brings an enthusiastic approach to her profession, and she is committed to creating long lasting relationships with clients and friends alike.

Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Josie always knew the Lowcountry region would be her forever home. She grew up visiting Charleston and spent numerous beautiful summers working at her family boat dealership in West Ashley, Cove 2 Coast Marine, as the Chief Marketing Officer. After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Marketing, she set her sights on Charleston, the city that she loves.

Josie has been an avid equestrian since she was very young and has traveled up and down the East Coast, from New York to Palm Beach to Kiawah Island, competing at horse shows and equestrian related events. On the rare days when she is not working or riding horses, Josie spends her time embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle through boating, fishing, sampling the region's world class restaurants, and exploring new areas with her yellow lab, Captain.
